The Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair takes place on Victoria Day long weekend from May 19 to 22, 2023. The Rodeo and Country Fair returns for its 75th anniversary with professional rodeo events, live entertainment, food trucks, midway rides and games and featured attractions for the whole family. The Cloverdale Invitational Rodeo will feature Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding & Ladies' Barrel Racing throughout the weekend with some of the top riders on the professional circuit, including 3-time Saddle Bronc world champion Zeke Thurston.
The Cloverdale Rodeo Parade is taking place on May 20 at 10:00 a.m. The Parade will feature a variety of floats, marching bands, dance groups, clowns, cowboys and cowgirls on horses, vintage vehicles, classic Shelby Mustangs, and custom cars. The Parade starts at the corner of 177B St and Highway #10 and heads west on Hwy #10 to 176 Street.
At the Country Fair, there are attractions and events for the whole family, including; Livestock Display, World Freestyle Skateboarding Round Up featuring Canadian Olympian Andy Anderson, Kidsworld, the Longhorn Saloon and new for this year, the Indigenous Village. The Country Fair will feature a Craft Beverage Zone and over 40 food trucks with three ribbers.
New to this year's Country Fair is All-Star Wrestling hosting four wrestling events on the long weekend, with shows on May 20 and May 21 and the final two on May 22. WWE Superstar Carlito will be competing in the main events on May 20 and May 21.
This year's musical headliner is Canadian country legend George Canyon. There will also be performances by DJ Jack, Dave Hartney, and Tumblin' Dice all weekend long. More artists take the stage at the Lordco Auto Parts Outdoor Stage, such as The Promised, Tanner Olsen Band, Jackson Hollow, and more.
